Shipping & Delivery
We ship with Canada Post within Canada only. We sometimes use local delivery service to addresses in Toronto, ON. Please note that we do not offer kerbside pickup as we are an online business and we do not have a traditional bricks and mortar location.
Shipping addresses within Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon are charged $15 flat rate shipping. Shipping addresses within Ontario and Quebec, are subject to our flat rate shipping of $7.99 CAD. All other shipping addresses (with the exception of Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon) can take advantage of our flat rate shipping of $9.99.
The estimated time of the arrival of your product should be considered as an estimate only, and Premium Teas will not be responsible for any damages due to delays in shipping. Charges for shipping will be listed when you purchase the product from the checkout webpage. You are responsible for all federal and provincial shipping related taxes, and you agree to comply will all laws of Canada that apply to the products purchased or received under this Agreement. Premium Teas uses a third party shipping service provider to ship its products and as such, Premium Teas will not be liable for any loss, damages (direct or indirect) or expense due to shipping. Title and risk of loss shall pass to you at the moment the product that you have purchased is transferred to the third party shipping service provider. Handling normally takes 1-3 business days.

We do, however, reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights/and or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us.

Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, an industry security standard for conducting secure online transactions. We use SSL technology when you create an account with us to protect your personal information such as name, address, telephone number, and billing information including your credit card information.
While we take reasonable, industry accepted security precautions to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee and we make no representation or warranty against the theft, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction of data by third parties. By accessing and using our website, you waive any and all claims for loss or damage resulting from any such theft, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction of data by third parties. You can do your part to protect the information you provide to us by choosing a strong password which is known only to you and not disclosed or shared with anyone.
When you place an order for products, services, or gift cards/certificates through our site we will collect certain personally identifiable information from you necessary to complete your order including your email address, name, billing address, credit card number, name on card, expiration date, card verification number, and the shipping address the order is to be shipped to. This information may be transmitted, processed and/or stored on servers.
The PremiumTeas.ca website offers the ability to subscribe to newsletters which may offer products, services, or promotions based on your past purchase history or based on general browsing habits we feel may be of interest to you. You can opt out of these newsletters at any time by sending a requesting to be removed from our email list in an email sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or updating your mailing preferences from the link on the bottom of the emails you've received from us.

For your convenience, our website may provide links to third party websites that are not controlled or owned by us. A link between Premium Teas and another website does not mean that we endorse, recommend, sponsor or approve any such website. We offer these links as a courtesy only and are not responsible for their content or privacy policies. We encourage you to exercise discretion in browsing the internet, and Premium Teas makes no representation or warranty about the legality of any third party website. Any such website is independent of Premium Teas, and Premium Teas has no control over or responsibility for any information provided or activities undertaken by any such website. Premium Teas expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any damage, loss or injury arising out of the activities, products or services offered by any such website.
Returns and Replacements
If, for whatever reason, our products do not meet your expectations, we are here to help. We accept returns on all new, unopened items and offer a full refund or store credit at the value of the item you are returning. We will gladly refund your purchase within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the returned merchandise. Please note that refunds will only be issued to the same payment method that was used for the original purchase and will not include the original shipping and handling charges. Return shipping is at customer's expense.
Refunds will be granted under the following conditions:
- Item was purchased directly from premiumteas.ca. (We do not issue refunds for product purchased at any of other online retailer or physical establishment.)
- Item was purchased within the last 15 days.
- Item is in original, new packaging.
- All refunds are credited against the original payment method. No cash/check refunds will be provided.
- All sale items are non-refundable and final.
- Original shipping is non-refundable.
- Return shipping is at customer's expense. We do not provide return shipping labels. In the case of customer returning using the "Return to Sender" method, they will be charged for the shipping cost associated with their shipping location (see table above).
- We charge 20% restocking fee.
- If the package was shipped back to our company due to an incorrect entry of your shipping address or due to an unclaimed package, we will charge you the cost for the return shipping + 20% restocking fee and you will be refunded for the rest. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- If you refuse the package that was shipped to you, we will deduct 20% restocking fee + return shipping from your original payment. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- If for whatever reason you don't receive your package, please contact us within 30 days of the shipment date so that we open an investigation with Canada Post. Canada Post's policy states that after 30 days of the shipment, they are not liable for the package and we won't be able to assist or provide a resolution. In case of a lost package where we are refunded for the value of the package, we will ship out a replacement. Please note that investigation time varies (approximately 5-10 business days) and is handled by Canada Post.
Here's the quickest, easiest way to process your return.
- Email us with your order number and reason for return.
- We will response with an authorization for the return.
- Ship the item back to Premium Teas in its original packaging, with your order confirmation.

When you submit an order on this webpage, your order shall be considered as an offer to Premium Teas. Premium Teas reserves the right to refuse your order at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to: a) the availability of the products (Premium Teas specifically reserves the right to revise or cease to make available any of its products at any time); and (b) if the products are incorrectly described or priced on the webpage. In the event that your order is cancelled or refused, you shall receive an email confirmation stating the same. Additionally, if your order is refused or cancelled following payment, Premium Teas will reimburse you for the full amount paid. Please note that all discounted items are final sale. The third party credit card service provider must approve all purchases made through the use of a credit card.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
All pricing on PremiumTeas.ca is in Canadian Dollars ($ CAD). If you're paying with foreign currency, please refer to your financial institution for additional information, fees and charges. Please note that promotions cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. For example, promo codes cannot be combined with cart-level discounts and special offers. Only one promo code can be used at a time.
You may use your orders, by logging in to your account management page (if such created by you).
Updating Account Information
You can update your personal information at anytime by logging in and visiting the Account Management page. Please note that if your account has been deleted, your prior order history is not be available should you decide to order Premium Teas products in the future.
No Bricks and Mortar Location
Please note that we do NOT have a bricks and mortar location. This is an online store and we do not offer pickup/kerbside pickup as a service.
Waiver of Liability and Indemnity
You agree that, except as otherwise provided under applicable law, neither Premium Teas, nor any of its affiliate and/or associate companies, nor any director, officer, employee, shareholder, agents, contractors, successors or assigns, will be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of or related to the use, or inability to use, the products made available through this website. This waiver includes all damages that may be suffered by you or others, whether direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, as well as damages for loss of profit, business interruption, or other damages, whether in tort or in contract, and whether for breach of warranty or by reason of strict liability, or otherwise.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Premium Teas, and each of its affiliate and/or associate companies, and all directors, officers, employees, shareholders, agents, contractors, successors or assigns of Premium Teas and its associate and affiliate companies, from any damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including all reasonable legal expenses, on account of any claim, action, suit, demand or proceeding made or brought against any such party, or on account of the investigation, defence or settlement thereof, arising in connection with your use of this website.
Restrictions on Use
You agree that you will not use this website for any commercial or political purpose including, but not limited to advertising, soliciting funds, collecting product prices or selling products. You may not modify, reproduce, duplicate, copy, distribute, sell, resell, publish, licence, visit or otherwise exploit this website for any commercial purpose. You further agree that you will not monitor, gather or copy the content of this website by using any robot, bot, spider, crawler, spyware, engine, device, software, extraction tool, or any other automatic device, utility, or manual process of any kind.
You agree that all content appearing on this website including, but not limited to, all trademarks, trade names, graphics, images, text, audio clips, button icons, digital downloads, data compilation and computer software are the sole and exclusive property of Premium Teas, or its affiliate and/or associate companies, and are protected by Canadian trademark and copyright laws. You are granted permission to browse and use this website for your retail use only. Any unauthorized use of this website, or any fraudulent, abusive or illegal use shall be grounds for termination of your use of this website.
