Try Harney & Sons Cherry Blossom blend of green teas and the vibrant flavor of plump and fragrant cherries. Inspired by an April visit to Tokyo, it's like a springtime awakening of the senses. This tea is a created with mostly dark green tea leaves and with a few lighter that create a lighter body liquor with light yellow-green colour. This tea is aslo available in a tin of 20 sachets. This tea is Kosher certified.
Interesting fact: Once, Mike and Brigitte Harney were in Tokyo in early April, and the weather was quite chilly. Nothing was blooming yet. Then a brief warm spell came. And the word on everyone's lips was sakura! All of Tokyo was happy that the cherry tree had blossomed. It is to celebrate the rite of spring in Tokyo and Washington, DC that we created this green tea.
